1. Overview
Midnight Picks ("Midnight Picks," "we," "us," or "our") provides a free sports prediction, competition, progression, and community experience. This policy applies to information associated with your use of Midnight Picks.
We do not sell personal information and do not use your information for cross-app advertising tracking. Midnight Picks does not accept deposits or real-money wagers.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
- Email address, internal account identifier, username, and authentication information managed by our authentication provider.
- Optional profile details such as profile photo, favorite team, favorite city, home state, badges, nameplates, and other public profile choices.
- Account status, preferences, and records showing acceptance of current terms or guidelines.
Gameplay and progression
- Predictions, slips, selected games, virtual credit usage, settlement results, SP, RP, rank, statistics, achievements, Challenge Road progress, rewards, inventory, and claim history.
- Poll votes, community event entries, league participation, and related competition records.
- Technical ledgers used to prevent duplicate claims, correct settlement, preserve competitive integrity, and investigate abuse.
Social and safety information
- Posts, comments, game-room messages, reactions, follows, friendships, direct messages, and other content you choose to submit.
- Reports, blocks, moderation actions, sanctions, and related safety records.
Device and service information
- Push-notification and Live Activity tokens, registered device records, notification preferences, deep-link activity, and widget refresh registrations.
- Basic app interaction, feature state, local settings, and diagnostic information needed to operate or secure the service.
- StoreKit product and transaction identifiers used to verify, restore, and protect digital entitlements. Apple processes payment information; Midnight Picks does not receive your full payment-card details.
Photos and camera
Camera or photo-library access is requested only after you choose a profile-photo action. Selected or captured photos may be uploaded to our storage provider for profile display. Core gameplay remains available without a custom photo.
3. How we use information
- Create, authenticate, protect, and support your account.
- Operate predictions, settlement, virtual credits, SP/RP progression, ranks, rewards, challenges, leagues, polls, and community events.
- Personalize schedules, favorite-team content, notifications, widgets, and Live Activities.
- Publish information you intentionally make public, such as username, profile cosmetics, posts, comments, and leaderboard position.
- Deliver messages, social interactions, reward inbox items, and account notices.
- Moderate content, enforce rules, prevent fraud and duplicate rewards, investigate abuse, and preserve competition integrity.
- Maintain, debug, analyze, and improve service reliability and accessibility.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal process.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by data type.
- Active account and profile information is generally retained while your account remains open.
- Public social content is removed or anonymized when account deletion is completed, subject to safety and legal exceptions.
- Gameplay, settlement, reward, anti-fraud, and moderation records may be retained in pseudonymized or anonymized form when needed for integrity, corrections, safety, or legal compliance.
- Invalid device and notification tokens may be removed when they expire, fail, or the account is deleted.
- Provider backups and security logs may persist for a limited period before normal deletion cycles complete.
6. Your choices and controls
- Profile: Edit supported profile details and cosmetic selections inside the app.
- Notifications: Manage categories in Settings and system permission in iOS Settings.
- Photos: Change device permission in iOS Settings and remove or replace your custom profile photo in the app.
- Social safety: Report or block users and content using available in-app controls.
- Account deletion: Open Profile, Account Settings, and Delete Account. You will be asked to reauthenticate and confirm. If you cannot access the app, contact support@midnightsportspicks.com from your account email.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. Contact support to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, authorization policies, secure transport, role controls, and server-side validation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Never send your password, recovery codes, or authentication tokens to another person or to support.
8. Children
Midnight Picks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Processing locations
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws. We take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the service.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Midnight Picks evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. When a change is material, we may provide additional notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
